KidWorks x Passion is Pretty Ballroom Dance Classes
Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, Passion is Pretty partnered up with 501c3 non-profit organization KidWorks in Santa Ana as a part of their KU Program. Every Tuesday our founder, Kaylynn Yang, would teach 3rd-grade KidWorks students how to dance. With KidWorks manager Daisy Rojas, the collaborative goal between KidWorks and Passion is Pretty was to inspire newfound confidence in the young girls, something that aligned directly with our mission. After months of teaching, Kaylynn taught them a complex and superb cha-cha-cha routine to the song, Havana by Camila Cabello, which they rehearsed in front of teachers and different students. It was an amazing collaboration between two marvelous organizations working towards the same goal. Kaylynn would describe it as “an opportunity that changed my perspective on many things. It will be an experience and a couple of months I’ll never forget. I love those girls with my heart!”
Passion is Pretty x OCEAA Ballroom Dance Classes
Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, Passion is Pretty partnered up with OCEAA, a charter school in Santa Ana, California, to act as their physical education class. Our founder, Kaylynn Yang, provided weekly dance classes and became a consistent addition of the OCEAA community.
MLBA x Passion is Pretty Backpack Distribution
In the summer of 2022, Passion is Pretty partnered up with major 501c3 non-profit organization MLBA Alorica to help fund and distribute backpacks to the low-income children of Santa Ana. In total, we helped raise $16,500 for 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies and flyers from individual organizations. Passion is Pretty is proud to have supplied free dance lessons to the thousands of families that want a new opportunity to supply children with school supplies and free opportunities from learning dance to knowing more about finance or robotics.
